Damaged 402G
It's never a good sign when the box rattles ....
Nor is it a good sign when there's what seems to be water damage on the bottom.
Lifting the top off the box, there's the machine. Not much room for padding, though.
Hmmm ... this really doesn't look good. The base of the machine is way up inside the carrying case.
I finally got the case out of the box. You can see the machine slid way up into the case.
It took quite a while to extract the machine from the case. In shipment, the machine moved around so much, it shattered some of the braces inside the case. Worst, a loose screw from one of the dislodged braces wedged between the machine and the case, making removal of the machine that much more difficult.
Here are the bits and pieces found floating around in the case. You can also see the loose screw, and the scratches on the machine caused by this loose screw.
