And, here’s where all the cams go, with the printed instructions of all the built in stitches. Singer produced over 20 Top Hat cams with different stitch patterns, but the 401 machines had most of these stitches built in. You could still use the cams, if you chose. Below is the instructions for using the built in stitches, and well as where the cams would go.
